Essential Medical Preparedness
Basic medical aid is the cornerstone of family resilience. Beyond professional help, having the right tools and knowledge to stabilize injuries, manage chronic conditions, and respond to sudden illnesses ensures your loved ones remain safe when resources are strained.
Immediate Emergency Response Guide
01
Check Scene Safety
- Assess immediate threats to yourself and the victim before approaching.
- Look for hazards like traffic, fire, downed power lines, or aggressive behavior.
- Only enter the area if you are certain it is safe for you to do so.

- Alert emergency services (911 or local emergency number) immediately.
- State your location clearly and describe the nature of the medical emergency.
- Designate a specific person to call if bystanders are present.
03
Primary Assessment
- Check for ABCs: Airway, Breathing, and Circulation.
- Verify if the person is conscious and responding to verbal or tactile stimuli.
- Identify life-threatening bleeding and apply direct pressure if necessary.
04
Basic Care Steps
